| Hybrid was formed in 2003 by the joining of four talented musicians with diverse musical backgrounds. The members of Hybrid bring an average of 30 years of experience in club and concert performances. |
| Nate Lee – Vocals, Bass & Keyboards Nate has been performing in the southern California area as a soloist and in groups for the last 20 years. His musical journey started in Chicago where he began performing in various R&B and Blues Groups. After high school the U.S. Air Force placed Nate in Wichita, Ks. where he stayed for 13 years involved in many R&B and Gospel projects and bands. Nate has performed a variety of musical styles and instruments all of which bring a unique and soulful style to everything he sings and plays. His solo CD has been well received and is a combination of Jazz and Soulful Songs where Nate showcases his many instrumental talents. |

Robert McKinley – Vocals & Guitar Robert started singing and playing at 14 and by the next year was playing regularly in the San Diego club circuit. Over the years he performed in clubs, colleges, & concerts all over the San Diego area. Robert’s roots started in rock and roll with his early influence of all the classic rock guitarists. Over the years he also performed in various funk and horn bands. In the mid 80’s Robert moved to LA with an all-original band and in 1987-1988 obtained top draw status in many of the Legendary Hollywood Clubs. Since then Robert has been recording and writing original songs. |

Bill Bannister – Keyboards, Guitar, & Vocals Bill has lived in Southern California all his life and started out with 8 years of classical piano training beginning at age six. He later began taking classical organ lessons and in 8th grade started on French horn. At 14 he started teaching himself guitar. During work with various orchestras, chamber music groups and a stint as a church organist, rock and jazz worked their ways into his repertoire and Bill has worked with a number of bands over the years playing rock, R&B and jazz. During the last 20 years, Bill has dabbled in various projects: a few Cajun bands; orchestrating for and accompanying various soloists; duo writing collaborations. |

Jerry Martel – Drums, Vocals & Percussion Jerry started playing drums at the age of 11 in New York and New Jersey. He performed in various styles of bands ranging from R&B/Soul to Rock and tuxedo lounge bands. It was during this time that he had the opportunity to jam with a few of the more famous singers and sax players to come out of the New York scene. His accomplishments include winning the Garden States Arts Center for Drumming competition in 1973. Following the call of the west coast Jerry migrated to San Francisco where he was a mainstay of the Punk scene until 1984. At that time he flew south to LA where he has performed in various Rock bands. Jerry also owns a small midi studio where he has been helping other recording artists record their music. |
